Our client is in search of a strategic and experienced Senior Director of Crisis Management to join their client's leadership team. As Senior Director, you will:

  • Craft and execute crisis management plans, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during crisis situations, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training sessions and exercises designed to prepare staff for potential crises.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats and best practices in crisis management, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to embed crisis management into the company's overall strategy.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson during crisis events, effectively communicating with stakeholders and the media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in crisis management or related fields, including significant leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective crisis response strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with experience managing media relations.
  • Proven track record of conducting training and workshops in crisis management.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in crisis readiness.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for crisis management training and implementation.
