As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will be a vital part of our customer acquisition and revenue generation engine, with opportunities for career advancement into Field Sales. We are seeking high-energy, curious, and polished individuals with a proven track record to spearhead new business initiatives and mentor our growing Business Development team. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive pipeline growth by strategically partnering with Account Executives to prospect within target accounts and territories, generating qualified leads.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly quotas for qualified meetings and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing team to execute effective lead generation campaigns.
  • Articulate customer successes and deliver compelling product solution overviews.
  • Introduce innovative and creative approaches to prospecting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience with 1-2 years in sales or sales prospecting, encompassing both inbound and outbound strategies.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, a naturally curious and energetic approach, and a strong desire to build a successful career in sales. Grit and accountability are highly valued!
  • A solid understanding of customer needs and the ability to articulate how Certinia's solutions effectively address those needs.
  • A genuine willingness and strong interest in acquiring the in-depth product knowledge and business acumen necessary for advancement into a Field Sales role at Certinia.
  • Ability to thrive and contribute effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative, and continuously learning team environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of success in lead generation, typically gained through 12+ months' tenure as a BDR or equivalent experience, preferably within the SaaS or software industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Existing experience and/or knowledge of accounting and general business processes.
