Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays, 12:00 to 4:00 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
  • Client Location/Timezone: Brisbane, Australia

As Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist, you will own the strategy and creation of all social content across Facebook and LinkedIn. Using your copywriting and design skills, you'll showcase their spaces and events while promoting member engagement on social platforms. This is a part-time remote role perfect for a self-starter who can turn around creative campaigns on a quick timeline.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management
  • Create and schedule engaging content (posts, carousels, reels, and stories) across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing goals
  • Monitor and respond to comments, likes, and messages across platforms to boost engagement
  • Share relevant content in Facebook groups and engage casually with potential clients
  • Collaborate with partners and influencers to drive traffic and expand reach
  • Brainstorm and implement new social media strategies and campaigns
2. Client Engagement & Lead Generation
  • Comfortably and confidently engage with clients over the phone to gather feedback on services
  • Use platforms like LinkedIn to generate new leads
  • Assist in nurturing, following up, and converting leads
3. Email Marketing, CRM & Automation
  • Create and manage email campaigns including segmentation and newsletters
  • Maintain and organize customer data in the CRM
  • Implement and optimize automation to streamline marketing workflows
  • Set up, manage, and optimize Facebook Ads campaigns
4. Collaboration & Reporting
  • Participate in online meetings with camera on and screen sharing during team collaboration sessions


Requirements


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • Strong written communication skills and creative flair
  • Proficient with Canva and other content creation tools
  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM and marketing platforms
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends and audience engagement
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently and with a team
  • Knowledgeable in Website & Digital Content management
