Associate Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Support Specialist to join our team. This entry level role involves supporting marketing strategies and assisting with the execution of marketing plans. You will collaborate with sales, product teams, global marketing counterparts, and research partners to support campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers, expanding existing ones, and increasing brand awareness in the nursing and allied health markets. You will report to the Head of NHE Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate the value of NHE’s portfolio to the market, supporting new customer acquisition and renewal business conversations.

  • Coordinate and manage the execution of omni-channel marketing plans, including sales messaging, flyers, whitepapers, success stories, web presence, digital marketing, email, conferences, webinars, and more.

  • Support thought leadership programs by monitoring market trends, acting on key industry movements, and executing webinars, articles, whitepapers, and research to influence buyers and enhance Elsevier Health’s expertise in the market.

  • Assist with ongoing analysis of market and competitive landscapes, deploying the NHE research team to conduct further research on emerging topics to inform marketing strategies and portfolio positioning.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Have excellent writing, presentation and communication skills

  • Demonstrate highly effective project management skills

  • Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to challenging situations

  • Be familiar with marketing, sales or product in the nursing/allied health technology space via internships and/or externships.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Be able to travel occasionally as required by the business
