Virtual Rockstar is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our client’s pediatric OT and speech therapy team located in Maryland. You’ll be part of our client’s new DocuCrew, working behind the scenes to manage client documentation and support administrative operations. This is a non-client-facing role, ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain client files in our practice management system
Ensure all records meet privacy and confidentiality standards
Distribute completed reports via the client portal
Assist with collecting copays and verifying insurance coverage
Request and manage referrals from external providers
Support the billing team with benefit verifications
Send post-session treatment plans and exercises
Maintain electronic records and assist with data entry
Track appointment waitlists and referral logs
Help with digital filing and equipment tracking
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with digital tools and systems
Ability to work independently and manage time well
Prior experience in healthcare administration, billing, or insurance is helpful but not required
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices preferred
