We’re on the lookout for a Human Resource Virtual Assistant to join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!

The Challenge

We’re growing fast, and our HR tasks—like managing records, coordinating recruitment, and ensuring smooth onboarding—are piling up! To keep things running seamlessly and ensure every team member feels supported, we need an organized, people-focused HR Virtual Assistant to tackle these challenges and help us create amazing experiences for our team.

Day in the Life of a [Role Title] at GT Ecom

  • Start the day by checking emails and messages, responding to HR inquiries from team members, and flagging anything urgent.
  • Update the HR system with new employee information or changes to existing records.
  • Work on onboarding prep—organize welcome packets, draft personalized emails for new hires, and ensure they have everything they need for day one.
  • Assist in planning a virtual team-building event or updating company policies to keep them fresh and fun.
  • Generate a quick report on employee attendance or recruitment progress to share with the team.

Your Team When You Join Us

As an HR Virtual Assistant, you’ll be a key player in our Human Resources team, reporting directly to the HR Manager, who will guide and support you.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement to streamline processes and create exceptional team experiences. While this role doesn’t involve managing subordinates, your proactive approach and organizational skills will be vital in ensuring the HR team operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • You have at least 1 year experience in similar role

  • Love making to-do lists and checking them twice (or three times).

  • Can handle sensitive info with care (because HR is a no-gossip zone).

  • Are a clear communicator—whether it’s email, chat, or smoke signals.

  • Know your way around tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.

  • Can roll with the punches when priorities shift (spoiler: they always do).

Overview of Our Interview Process

  1. Application Submission - We’ll start by reviewing your application.
  2.  Test Gorilla Assessment - A 20 - minute assessment meant to give us a deeper insight on your fitness to the role.
  3. One round of  interview - meet with the Hiring Manager for the final interview.
  4.  Offer Discussion - If all goes well, we'll discuss the offer and invite you to our pre-onboarding process.
  5. Pre-Onboarding Process
    1. Background Check: Verification of your identification and declared address.
    2. Reference Check: We’ll contact your three references for their feedback.
  6. Onboarding: Once all checks are completed, we’ll initiate the onboarding process.
