Description
JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Executive – Vendor Management is responsible for driving subscription growth within an assigned territory through the acquisition vendor management subscription clients. This role focuses on identifying prospective clients and managing the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales to banks and credit unions under $10B in assets, particularly in SaaS or subscription-based services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep understanding of vendor management systems, subscription-based business models, and sales methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to and experience using CRM platforms for pipeline tracking, task management and timelining prospect communications and decisions. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and sales platforms.

Problem Solving/Analysis

  • Uses data and client feedback to identify sales barriers and implement corrective strategies.
  • Anticipates and resolves potential objections or delays during the sales process with creative solutions. 

Business Impact and Scope

  • Delivers quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Rapidly builds pipeline through “cold” calling, social media, trade shows and other direct lead generation methods.
  • Directly influences revenue generation through new subscription client acquisition. Supports long-term business goals by identifying market trends and growth opportunities.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicates clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders across various formats (email, presentations, meetings).
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development.

Influence Responsibility/Level of Interaction

  • Positions solutions strategically, setting up software sales to drive cultural change and financial performance benefits for clients.
  • Influences decision-makers and C-level executives to drive subscription sales and long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to operate at multiple levels within a bank or credit union depending on how the organization is structured.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual presentation platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
