Job Summary
Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities for the Direct Sales team in a high-volume setting. Researches accounts that would be good leads and manages and updates leads in customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities for assigned OEC products.
- Conducts outbound proactive calling to generate business leads in a high-volume setting.
- Engages with prospects by phone and email and communicates knowledgeably to provide content and product/service information.
- Qualifies leads and prospects using defined criteria and passes them to Account Executives.
- Researches accounts using internal tools as well as external browsers and sites such as Google and LinkedIn and inputs/updates information in CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Participates in outbound call campaigns to create leads, drive attendance to upcoming events, and create awareness of current products and promotions.
- Develops strong understanding of OEC solutions, profile accounts, business need, and other relevant information.
- Utilizes OEC’s customer database to document activity and maintain customer accounts.
Education
Eligible candidates will be currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited university and must be in their Sophomore, Junior, or first half of Senior year. Students pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or other related business degree are highly preferred.
