Job Title: Content & Research Virtual Assistant
Location:
Remote
Salary Range:
300 USD - 700 USD (based on experience and up to $7/hour)

Work Schedule:
Part-time | 10 - 20 hours/week | Flexible with some overlap in EST mornings

Position Overview:

Were hiring a proactive, sharp, and organized Content & Research VA to help amplify the work of a busy entrepreneur. The role blends writing, research, content planning, and light project coordination. From drafting job applications and cover letters to researching new ideas and scheduling social content, this is a unique opportunity to build a close working relationship with a founder while contributing meaningfully across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Application Support: Research job opportunities, draft custom cover letters (using templates and past applications), and assist with submissions.
  • Content Creation & Scheduling: Draft, repurpose, and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Internet Research: Conduct light research on emerging ideas, tools, or industries -- turning open-ended prompts into short write-ups or summaries.
  • Website & Copywriting Support: Draft website content and landing pages using WordPress (no coding required) while aligning with the founders voice.
  • Project Tracking & Communication: Maintain visibility on task status, flag blockers, and proactively surface areas for expansion or improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent written English with a clear, conversational tone.
  • Experience drafting social media posts, short-form content, or emails.
  • Comfortable with internet research and summarizing findings.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Gmail, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X.
  • Able to work independently and communicate proactively.
  • Available to work part-time with some EST overlap.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt to a specific tone or style.
  • Light project management experience (tracking tasks, surfacing blockers).
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to suggest ideas or areas to support.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media tools (can be taught).
  • Growth-oriented and open to expanding responsibilities over time.

  • Performance-based bonuses may be offered.
