About the Role:

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Partnership Executive to spearhead partnership engagement initiatives within the legal market. This role will focus on identifying, cultivating and strengthening relationships that match our horizontal and vertical strategic initiatives to find as new partnersThe ideal candidate is a seasoned relationship manager with industry experience, a proven track record of driving strategic partnerships.  You will need to be able to clearly and effectively articulate how new partnerships will provide a strategic advantage.   

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Executing Partnership Strategy: Define and drive our strategic partnership roadmap, identifying and securing key relationships that align with business objectives. 

  • Identifying and Managing Horizontal & Vertical Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships across technology providers, legal service firms, bar associations, and regulatory bodies. 

  • Driving Business Growth through Strategic Alliances: Leverage partnerships to enhance AI product capabilities, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth. 

  • Negotiating and Structuring Agreements: Lead negotiations, draft agreements, and ensure successful execution of partnership contracts. 

  • Working closely with product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to integrate partner solutions into our AI-driven legal software. 

  • Staying ahead of market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging AI applications in the legal field to identify potential opportunities. 

  • Measuring and Optimizing Partnership Performance: Establish KPIs to track the success and impact of partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals. 

  • Representing the Company in Industry Events: Act as a spokesperson and thought leader in conferences, panels, and industry forums to strengthen brand positioning and partnership opportunities. 

Requirements: 

  • Have impressive years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles within legal technology, software, or professional services. 

  • Have a proven track record of building and scaling partnership ecosystems, preferably in the legal or AI technology space. 

  • Have a great understanding of AI applications in legal workflows, contract management, litigation support, and compliance. 

  • Be exceptional at negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with experience with contract negotiation, licensing agreements, and revenue-sharing models. 

  • Be able to influence and collaborate with C-suite executives, product teams, and external partners. 

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic and results-driven approach. 

  • Be able to travel as needed for partner meetings, industry events, and business development activities. 

  • MBA, JD, or equivalent advanced degree. 

  • Previous leadership experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
