Primary Purpose

Responsible for supporting and solving US-based employee’s day-to-day questions about a portfolio of US group benefits and wellness programs including: group health, prescription drugs, dental, vision, life insurance and accident plans, HSAs, medical and dependent care flexible spending plans, supplemental critical illness/ hospital/ accident insurances, EAP, and financial/ physical/ mental wellness programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for responding to US-based employees benefits and wellness plan questions, solving issues, and engaging external benefits plan vendors as needed.
  • Engage and communicate with US benefit plan vendors and third-party administrators engaged in resolving benefit plan issues, data files, systems, and employee-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate transfer of data file feeds from payroll vendor to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processe.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, as well as ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
  • Processes company benefit transactions through HRIS and vendor websites with accuracy and appropriate timeliness: enrollments, life events, terminations, beneficiaries, accident, and death claims.
  • Coordinate and facilitate annual and special open enrollment events.
  • Conduct employee education sessions on available benefit programs, ensuring understanding and utilization by employees.
  • Collaborate with payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit data.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of employee benefits informaiton, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data security standards.
  • Manage ACA health compliance process (including collaborating with vendor, employee communication, Form 1095-C auditing, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding their benefits, addressing inquiries and providing information on available programs.
  • Assist employees in resolving benefit related issues, including claims and discrepancies.
  • Administer and communicate global wellness program to employees
  • Develop and maintain communication tools and materials on benefits education sites to enhance understanding of the company's benefits offerings
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field.
  • Possess at least 5+ years of employee benefit experience
  • 3+ years supporting US-based employee benefits and wellness plan question.
  • 2+ years using and maintaining ADP WorkForce Now Benefits module.
  • M&A benefits integration experience highly desired.
  • International benefits experience desired
