Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy for alcohol use disorder (AUD) in an older population (age 65 and over)
Treatment plan and coordinate care among the interdisciplinary team and externally with other care providers and case managers
Demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and promptness during sessions
Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed
Adhere to established standards for documentation quality
Manage patient appointments according to company, medical, and insurance requirements
Communicate with patients through phone, app-based text messages, and HIPAA-compliant email

Requirements

Masters in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling REQUIRED
(Preferred) Doctorate in Supervising Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Mental Health Counseling
MUST have any of the following licensure types to be considered: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC & LPC
Active State Licensure in:

California : Medicare
West Virginia : Medicaid

Highest preferred Licensure in: California
Multiple Active state licenses Preferred
Must have 2 to 3 years experience with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)
Experience treating individuals age 65 and older and individuals with behavioral and medical conditions
Must have evening availability
Telehealth experience or Technology-savvy
A secure private office with a professional background and appearance with direct high-speed internet capabilities to conduct video medical appointments
People oriented, relationship-focused; Team Player Mentality
