About the Position

We are looking for Providers who can have consistent scheduled availability on our platform and help improve a patient’s acuity through timely access to quality care. Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy for alcohol use disorder (AUD) in an older population (age 65 and over)

  • Treatment plan and coordinate care among the interdisciplinary team and externally with other care providers and case managers

  • Demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and promptness during sessions

  • Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed

  • Adhere to established standards for documentation quality

  • Manage patient appointments according to company, medical, and insurance requirements

  • Communicate with patients through phone, app-based text messages, and HIPAA-compliant email



Requirements


  • Masters in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling REQUIRED

  • (Preferred) Doctorate in Supervising Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Mental Health Counseling

  • MUST have any of the following licensure types to be considered: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC & LPC

  • Active State Licensure in:

    • California  : Medicare

    • West Virginia : Medicaid

  • Highest preferred Licensure in: California

  • Multiple Active state licenses Preferred

  • Must have 2 to 3 years experience with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)

  • Experience treating individuals age 65 and older and individuals with behavioral and medical conditions

  • Must have evening availability

  • Telehealth experience or Technology-savvy 

  • A secure private office with a professional background and appearance with direct high-speed internet capabilities to conduct video medical appointments

  • People oriented, relationship-focused; Team Player Mentality

    Visit Type: Synchronous 
  • Minimum Availability: 5 hours a week, 2 hrs/wk of the minimum must be available for group sessions/meeting as necessary after 5pm local time
