Compensation:

As a Product Management Analyst - Business Intelligence, you’re key to helping us continue to enhance our product offering. You would be joining a high performing Product Management and Design team where you will partner directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, Software Developers, QA Testers and others across the company to ensure we’re building the right functionality to meet our customer’s needs.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret data, providing actionable insights to improve our SaaS platform. Collaborating with engineering and QA teams, you will ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective technical solutions.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using the Sigma Computing
  • Business Intelligence system to track KPIs, trends, and product performance metrics.
  • Work closely with product and engineering to design and build appropriate data
  • schemas for customer and internal reporting.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and special projects as needed, providing insights that
  • influence key business decisions.
  • Monitor key product metrics, identify trends, and develop predictive models to forecast user behavior, product performance, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing and maintaining effective data
  • validation processes, audits, and best practices.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and analytics workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Product Management (PM) & User Experience Designers (UX) to discover, define, and translate customer needs into a prioritized product backlog (Epic > User Stories > Acceptance Criteria)
  • Help ensure Product Management is successful at building and maintaining a centrally located, 12-month roadmap, and product strategy.
  • Understand, maintain, and contribute to a healthy product backlog.
  • Responsible for driving the creation, and completion, of User Stories to a “Ready for Development” status.
  • Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and close coordination with Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  • Act as a liaison and bridge between product teams, support, and professional services to help identify product issues and opportunities for enhancements.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI,
  • Looker).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
  • Snowflake is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills; ability to connect across various domains, skills, and disciplines. A successful candidate will be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to break down big concepts into actionable pieces.
  • Great balance of software business and technical savvy/aptitude with the ability to quickly understand customer problems.
  • Ability to become a true product expert with the flexibility to respond to various business & team needs.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and a great understanding of its most common practices / processes / tactics.
  • Demonstrate a high level of grit and initiative to get stuff done.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with HCM/HRIS and/or financial systems in the SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and user behavior analytics.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in business analytics.
  • Passion for the Software product craft and a curiosity for continuous learning and improvement … bonus points if you love all things HR Tech and related HR functionality.
  • Experience with PrismHR or another Human Capital Management (HCM) platform and/or related HR Technology.
  • Agile Framework certifications and/or professional development training.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Pragmatic Institute’s (or equivalent) Product Management framework.
