Danfoss Climate Solutions is currently seeking a Datacenter Business Development Manager EU, a key role focused on driving growth by aligning the company's HVAC solutions with the specific needs of OEMs manufacturing systems for hyperscale’s and colocation providers, ensuring optimized energy efficiency, sustainability, and reliability in datacenter cooling.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating with the product line manager, possessing strong analytical and negotiation skills. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and driving strategic initiatives to position Danfoss as a key partner in the datacenter cooling sector.

The role offers Home Office set up.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop business strategies aligned with corporate goals, identifying new OEM partners and assessing their potential business contribution.
  • Define and monitor business development strategy, priorities, and sales targets across the European region in collaboration with local sales teams.
  • Drive scouting of potential new OEM partners, assess their suitability, and conduct negotiations to secure strategic partnerships.
  • Collect and analyze market needs within the datacenter cooling segment and guide the development of internal solutions to meet these needs.
  • Implement programs with OEM partners to stimulate business growth and create mutual value.
  • Foster a culture of strategic partnership management within the organization through training and coaching initiatives.
Background & Skills
  • Academic background in Business Engineering/Economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in moderately structured multinational environments, in roles involving business development and strategic partnership management.
  • Previous experience in sales of technically advanced products, preferably in the HVAC or datacenter sector.
  • Previous experience in complex negotiations, understanding of OEM contracts, and price management.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Strong business development skills with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
