Our Newest Opportunity:
Reporting to the National Practice Leader, Private Equity and M&A, the Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) Managing Consultant will work closely with OneDigital consulting teams, clients, and private equity firms to lead and coordinate due diligence activities and support various other PEMA activities, including but not limited to preparing presentations, conducting research, and performing analysis. This role will support the management of relationships with portfolio company clients and private equity firms, the institutionalization of due diligence processes and deliverables for client transaction activities and serve as an expert resource for OneDigital consulting teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Project manage due diligence processes in coordination with consulting team and subject matter experts
Review and inventory documents and information contained in virtual data rooms
Maintain data request list between Client and OneDigital, including coordination with internal subject matter experts and in-market teams
Analyze data, research, and organize findings into due diligence report
Interact with internal partners and clients to provide regular updates on the process and deliver due diligence reports
Engage local market and subject matter experts across the OneDigital organization
Guide and educate OneDigital subject matter experts on the due diligence process and deliverables
Prepare PEMA presentations for external and internal use
Conduct market research to support PEMA sales strategy and initiatives
Provide insights and guidance on private equity firms, the industry, and processes to OneDigital consulting teams and clients
Other associated or PEMA-related tasks, as requested
Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience required, in a business-related field preferred
5 - 7 years employee benefits experience
Experience with transaction-related activities (e.g., due diligence, integration, harmonization, carve-out stand up, etc.)
Experience working directly with private equity firms
Required Capabilities
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting time-sensitive deadlines
Responsive and flexible, willing to work non-traditional business hours when required
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to and impact key audiences both internally and externally
Commitment to protecting client confidentiality
Proficient use of technology including MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI, or other analytics software
Self-motivated and proactive approach, overall inclined to action
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $140,000 to $170,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
