We are looking for an Audit Associate on behalf of a client, a professional accounting firm providing audit services to Singaporean SMEs. This role involves conducting audits, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, and supporting clients in maintaining financial accuracy and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting audits for a portfolio of Singaporean SME clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to verify financial data accuracy.
Prepare working papers, document audit findings, and draft audit reports for review.
Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes and address any audit-related inquiries.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
Support senior auditors in executing audit engagements efficiently and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA) is an advantage but not required.
1-3 years of experience in audit roles within an accounting firm.
Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and auditing principles is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
