Job Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing targeted client relationships, driving client development, and maintaining detailed account profiles. The ideal candidate will have strong market research abilities and a talent for forming long-lasting, mutually beneficial business relationships. Ultimately, a top-performing Account Executive will leverage their sales expertise to drive profitability and scale company revenue.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling to meet company targets.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales quotas and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Continuously analyze territories/market potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Facilitate and communicate with leadership team on territory performance in Monthly Business Reviews.
  • Set and communicate sales targets that promote long-term profitability and meet or exceed goal expectations.
  • Maintain detailed records through company CRM.
  • Attend industry events to refine skills and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Travel estimated 50-65% of the time. 
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of outdoor product or consumer electronics sales experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in business and account development.
  • Valid driver's license. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities.
  • The ability to build long-lasting professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
