We are currently seeking a JGM/GM – Sales & Business Development, to join our IOC Team, and this position will be directly reporting to Head of Commercial, IOC

About the mission we offer you:

Joint General Manager / General Manager – Sales & Business development holds complete responsibility to achieve order intake target for organization in Fertilizers ( Ammonia Urea, Phosphatic Fertilizer like Phosphoric acid / Sulphuric Acid / DAP-NPK etc), Chemicals & Specialty chemicals sector in Indian market.

TEN is interested to diversified portfolio in Fertilizer & Chemical sector with focus on grassroot ammonia – urea , Phosphatic fertilizer , Cryogenic ammonia storage terminals, Chemical sector.

Defined & strategize , sale desired business model to Public sector & Private sector clients as per long term strategy of organization.

Manage key contacts with client to close business deals. Enhance business portfolio in allocated sectors.

About you:

  • Sector : Fertilizers & Chemicals
  • Led mid to mega sized, highly techno commercially intensive, Proposals and Sales Campaigns in extreme competitive situations.
  • Overall responsibility for entire sales cycle (lead generation to contract conclusion) of various opportunities pursued. Managing sales bids & pipelines for future.
  • Oversee risk assessment, scope compliance, cost review for specific opportunities. Stakeholder management internally & externally. Competition mapping, market intelligence, overall integration of information for decision making process.
  • Capture Customer feedback at various stages of opportunities & execution phase. Customer relationship building at various levels.
  • Contract negotiations and conclusion with proper handover to projects for implementation.
  • Bachelor Degree is Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
  • 18+ years of experience in Fertilizers / Chemicals / Petrochemicals sector specially in Sales & Business development domain.
  • Engagement with key licensors in sector.
  • Result oriented approach and ability to deliver targets.
  • Managed key stakeholders from client side at various levels with understanding on who’s who in the market.
  • High ability to understand market intelligence and integration of information for complete sector.
  • End to end experience of complete sales cycle with contract closure in timely manner.
  • Good Presentation and Communication Skills
  • Learning agility & Ability to work under pressure.
