Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The AWS Partner Development Manager will be a critical driver of our strategic partnership with AWS. This role focuses on maximizing the value of our AWS relationship by developing and executing comprehensive partner programs, driving revenue growth, and ensuring seamless collaboration across internal and external teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan with AWS, aligning with company objectives.
  • Establish and manage strategic programs with AWS, setting clear targets and goals.
  • Drive co-selling and co-marketing initiatives, including AWS events and joint campaigns.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with AWS partner teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive engagement with AWS sales and technical teams to generate AWS-originated opportunities.
  • Track and support the accomplishment of targets within the Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA), manage funding claims and reporting.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on AWS services, solutions, and programs.
  • Enable the sales team to effectively co-sell with AWS counterparts.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to AWS and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize AWS programs and funding (e.g., Gen AI, MAP funding) to support joint customer initiatives and drive growth.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience in partner management, business development, or strategic sales, with direct experience working with AWS.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services, solutions, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets through partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing strategies for successful pipeline development and sales achievement; Emphasis in new relationship development and new customer engagement and pipeline. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Experience with AWS funding programs and partner incentives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for a AWS Partner Development Manager is from $180k to $200k per year + commissions based on sales.
