Vice President of Innovation & Development

AlediumHR is seeking a visionary leader to join our client's team as Vice President of  Innovation & Development. In this pivotal role, you will lead a global team of over 130 engineers, scientists, and designers. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing an innovation strategy that addresses our customers' most pressing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Product Development: Oversee the entire lifecycle of product development, from initial concept to market launch.
• Trend Identification: Stay ahead by identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and technologies within the packaging industry.
• Strategic Partnerships: Forge alliances to optimize development costs and reduce lead times without compromising quality.
• Technology Roadmapping: Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for equipment and automation that align with our growth strategies.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

• Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in innovation and development, research and development, product innovation, or new product development.

• Leadership Excellence: More than 5 years leading global teams of 50+ members, focusing on driving product innovation, particularly in equipment and packaging.

• Industry Insight: Prior experience in large multinational organizations with capital equipment offerings, preferably within the plastics or packaging industry.

• Change Management: Proven track record of leading teams through cultural and operational transformations, challenging the status quo, and phasing out outdated best practices.
