Our firm is currently seeking an In-House Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports for firm leadership.
Prepare and file quarterly/annual tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations.
Manage trust accounting (IOLTA) and client funds in compliance with Florida Bar regulations.
Handle tax compliance and financial forecasting/strategizing.
Work closely with management to optimize billing processes and financial efficiency.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or prior IRS experience preferred but not required).
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, trust accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting.
Experience with tax compliance and financial analysis.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Remote within the United States. Preference for Florida residents.
