ICC NTA LLC, a proud member of the International Code Council's Family of Solutions, is seeking a full-time Account Manager for our Building Products Division. This position can be located anywhere in the continental United States.


Responsible for direct sales activity within your assigned accounts and other areas as instructed by your supervisor. Core functions include increasing new and existing sales, maintaining customer relations through excellent customer service, and identifying and developing new business opportunities.



Requirements

Account Manager responsibilities include:

  • Prospect, qualify/disqualify, and fulfill client needs
  • Attain, expand, and maintain client networks
  • Advocate for and deliver on excellent customer service
  • Meet or exceed individual and company revenue goals
  • Develop and apply expertise in building product industries to maximize effectiveness and excellence of problem-solving client needs
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date records of industry developments, client needs, and client/prospect information
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external testing laboratories, evaluation services, certification agencies and inspection agencies
  • Effectively communicate client needs and expectations to Operations staff to ensure excellent customer service
  • Promote effective communication throughout the organization
  • Identify, recommend, and promote opportunities and actions to build new business
  • Oversee, organize, prioritize, and schedule work activities and assignments alone and in groups
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology or demonstrated success in similar responsibilities
  • Previous experience in the construction industry or trades
  • Previous experience with building products, fire-resistant construction, flame protection systems/products preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and physical communication skills
  • Must be willing and able to work from home and maintain excellent connection for video calls
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

Valid driver's license is required
