As an Institutional Account Manager, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team of passionate professionals whose performance is critical to Coinbase achieving its mission. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Coinbase’s institutional suite of products, providing world-class service and support to our most valued institutional clients. Diligent, customer focused, and with a bias towards action, you will play a crucial role in the success of the Sales, Trading and Prime organization as we help build the crypto economy. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting some of Coinbase Institutional’s highest priority client and working on initiatives to deliver excellent client experience
  • You will partner with Senior Account Managers and Management to help support large and complex relationships across client segments including market makers, wholesale, asset managers and corporates 
  • Understand complex, multi-product client workflows and strategies to ensure that our institutional clients are integrated appropriately and using our product suite efficiently with a focus on trading and custody across the Exchange and Prime 
  • This role will involve you working closely with cross functional partners including Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance and Operations to onboard clients to ensure are supported across our product suite
  • You’ll provide a best in class experience for our clients through effective stakeholder management, conclusive prioritization and efficient execution across initiatives 
  • You’ll manage client escalations in a timely and effective manner with clear communication to AM Leadership when appropriate and root cause analysis
  • Understand complex, multi-product client workflows and strategies to ensure that our institutional clients are integrated appropriately and using our product suite efficiently
  • Effectively triage, manage and prioritize incoming client requests. Handle requests through to resolution with limited support, including delegating across teams of subject matter specialists
  • Facilitate prospect and client demo calls, serving as subject matter specialist on product features in partnership in partnership with Sales coverage
  • Distill client feedback to internal teams including Operations, Engineering and Product when surfacing bugs, incidents or general product requests and feedback

Nice to haves:

  • Digital Assets experience & knowledge
  • Prior Prime Brokerage experience
  • Prior Account/Relationship Management experience
  • Fluent in either French, German, Italian, or Spanish
