Core Duties

The NOC Technician of IT Operations will provide global IT operations Infrastructure Monitoring, ensuring all the devices are up and running. If anything down notified by any alert system , need to address to users and management.

Main role in Patra for NOC Team will be handling the It Operations Infrastructure with

monitoring systems.

  • Incident handling.
  • Perform Server and Network troubleshooting and management.
  • Data storage management
  • Escalation to Next level if not resolved the incident.
  • Vulnerability scanning, monitoring and raising monthly tickets.
  • Involving in patching and make sure all working fine after patching.
  • Raising Change controls.
  • NAS firmware updates and package updates in presence of server team.
  • Basic firewall monitoring.
  • Communicate regularly within the NOC team and ITops team.
  • Notifying downtimes to users and management.
  • Updating NOC checklist in shift.
  • Emails server spool count will be monitored continuously.
  • Configuring alerts for all PATRA infrastructure.
  • Monitoring all backups are successful or not. If not report to server team.
  • Knowledge in Active directory, Vmware , Monitoring tools , Vulnerability tools, Service desk ticketing tool.

  • Ensuring that service processes and procedures are delivered and operated according to professional practices and standards.
  • Managing, processing and coordinating appropriate and timely response to Incidents and Service desk requests.

  • Take ownership for assigned tasks and be proactive.
  • Perform all duties with a level of integrity and honesty that represents Patra in a positive manner.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • At least 2yrs of experience in monitoring and handing server and network related issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Any IT certifications are added advantage.

Working Conditions

  • Work from home/Office
  • Minimum internet speed of 50 mbps download and 10 mbps upload; Directly connected into modem; No satellite.
