The Sr Email Marketing Strategist Strategist exists to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring a positive client experience and maximizing campaign performance. This role focuses on client-facing interactions, strategic planning, and ongoing optimization to drive business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Strategy Development: Create and implement effective marketing strategies that meet client needs.
Account Management: Manage retention marketing programs for multiple brands, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Client Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business needs and translate them into marketing strategies.
Performance Tracking: Analyze and track data to maximize the performance of email and other retention marketing campaigns.
Client Communication: Communicate marketing insights and reports on performance, and plan for further development.
Team Alignment: Ensure the Activations team has clear instructions and is aligned with the overall strategy.
Service Expansion: Successfully upsell and cross-sell services, increasing revenue and client engagement.
Thought Leadership: Provide valuable industry insights to the marketing team to enhance the company’s reputation as an industry leader.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5 - 10 years of experience in digital marketing, client strategy, or account management, preferably in an agency or eCommerce environment.
Strong understanding of retention marketing, including email, SMS, and CRM strategies.
Proven ability to develop data-driven marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
Proven experience in people management and leadership, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
Ability to communicate complex marketing insights in a clear and actionable manner.
Experience in upselling and cross-selling services to drive revenue growth.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment on strategy execution.
