We’re seeking a motivated Account Executive with a tenacious approach as well as a growth mindset that can also collaborate closely with members of our Leadership, Customer Success, and Business Development teams to find the best approach to delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, selling to academic institutions specifically in the German region.

  • Become an expert in BioRender’s features, benefits, and use cases.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed all revenue and booking targets for your assigned territory or category.

  • Organize, classify, and prioritize leads in the CRM—measure lead conversion and performance against quotas.

  • Develop and execute strategic expansion plans for accounts within your assigned territory.

  • Provide feedback on regional trends, customer needs, and market opportunities, ensuring our offerings are tailored to the German region.

  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on the academic and research landscape in France, staying informed on the unique challenges and opportunities within the region.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and other internal teams to continuously improve success factors.

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of prior SaaS sales experience managing the full sales cycle.

  • Full professional proficiency in English and German (written and spoken).

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

  • A degree in life sciences or prior experience in this field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering) OR experience selling highly technical products in SaaS environments.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse audiences, including scientists, project coordinators, and industry executives.

  • Determination and resourcefulness; you leverage tools and technologies to sell strategically and effectively.

  • Strong ability to interpret feedback and quickly apply suggestions.

  • An analytical and curious mindset, with the ability to understand and communicate complex scientific concepts.

  • A proactive attitude, continuously seeking opportunities to improve your skills and contribute to the team's success.

  1. Introductory calls: A 30-minute call with a recruiter and/or a member of our sales team. You’ll share your experiences and interests and learn more about BioRender and the team. Feel free to ask questions!

  2. Professional experience interview: A conversational interview with our sales leaders to discuss your past experiences and educational background in chronological order.

  3. Practical interview: You’ll complete a hands-on exercise to demonstrate your skills and get a realistic preview of the role. This will be conducted with our sales leaders.

  4. Team meet-and-greet: Meet your future colleagues and learn more about our collaborative environment.
