About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Institutional Sales team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our foreign exchange services. This role requires a deep understanding of the FX market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing:

1.⁠ ⁠Business Growth:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the foreign exchange market.

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-value clients.

  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets.

2.⁠ ⁠Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.

  • Understand clients’ currency exchange needs and recommend tailored solutions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and account management.

3.⁠ ⁠Market Research and Analysis:

  • Monitor trends and developments in the global and Nigerian FX markets.

  • Provide insights and updates on market movements to clients.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the company’s services and offerings.

4.⁠ ⁠Sales and Marketing:

  • Promote the company’s foreign exchange products and services through presentations, pitches, and networking events.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials to attract potential clients.

  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to build brand awareness.

5.⁠ ⁠Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all client transactions adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Work closely with the compliance team to minimize risk and ensure transparency.
