Job Summary


As Regional Sales Manager (Germany, Italy, Spain) you will drive aggressive United Electronic Industries (UEI) business growth by acquiring new customers, expanding market presence, and retaining key accounts. You will manage go-to-market channels, including direct key accounts, distributors, resellers, integrators/commissioning agents, and authorized service providers. You may be our ideal candidate if you are a hunter sales professional with a proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals! The position is ideally centrally based in Europe and will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing.

 

The Regional Sales Manager will: 

 

  • Develop and execute robust business development strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory.
  • Aggressively target and acquire new customers, creating tailored approaches to penetrate key verticals and markets.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategize and grow distributor, reseller, and commission agent networks to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-performing distributors, resellers, and commission agents.
  • Develop training programs and provide ongoing support to channel partners to enhance their selling capabilities.
  • Expand service business opportunities by xploring direct service offerings.
  • Actively visit and engage customers in the territory to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular market research to uncover emerging trends, competitive insights, and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and align offerings with customer requirements.
  • Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations that highlight UEI's value proposition and capabilities.
  • Set and monitor aggressive sales targets, ensuring performance exceeds expectations.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and present growth strategies to senior management.
  • Analyze sales and customer data to identify areas for improvement and future growth.


Regional Sales Manager Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in technology or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new customers and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
  • Experience managing multi-country sales operations, including distributors and resellers.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills in German, Italian, or Spanish are a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively (40-50%) within the assigned territory.


Regional Sales Manager Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with UEI business solutions or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and market regulations in the assigned territory.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Work Environment


This job operates in a professional office environment. The role requires frequent travel to meet customers and partners in the field.
