At Dynatron Software, we help automotive service departments increase revenue and profitability with our suite of services. We strive to be a people-first company where employees enjoy coming to work, the people they work with, and are given the autonomy to succeed. Our company culture is built on a foundation of teamwork, accountability, integrity, clear communication, and positive attitudes.

We are currently looking to add new talent to our growing team!

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and motivated go-getter to join our rapidly growing company as the Director of IT. This is a key leadership role on our technology team and will go to the person who demonstrates exceptional performance and continuous improvement. You will be directly responsible for our infrastructure, systems, network and help desk while collaborating with security, corporate applications, engineering and other key departments. Additionally, you will oversee IT projects, budget, planning, lifecycle management and the growth of the team both in scale and in skill as dictated by the needs of the company.
Technical knowledge, hands-on experience, leadership, communication and partnering skills are the absolute minimum requirements to be successful in this role.

Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:  Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives, identifying emerging technologies to drive innovation while minimizing cost.

Team Leadership:  Manage and mentor the IT team, assigning responsibilities, evaluating performance, ensuring accountability and fostering collaboration. Focus on continuous improvement through training and growth opportunities within the team based on merit.

IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks, systems, applications, and hardware. Ensure adherence to relevant IT compliance standards and legal requirements.

Project Management: Lead the execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, allocating resources efficiently.

Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external IT vendors.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze IT operations to identify areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Partnership: Build and maintain relationships with leaders across the organization to facilitate the highest level of performance and delivery.

What does the interview process look like?
We are passionate and deliberate about hiring high performance individuals. This means our interview process is not for average people. After the 5 mile run, you will be given a cognitive test to ensure you can do complex quantum calculations in your head while doing pull ups. OK not really but our interview process is designed to find the people who will thrive here. It looks basically like the following:
  • Recruiter screening
  • 90 Min - Interview #1 is a culture fit interview with some sanity checks of your skillset.
  • 90 Min - Interview #2 is a technical interview to probe your knowledge. This role is not a hands-on technical role day-to-day but you need to be technically sound to lead technical people and especially to lead strategy.
  • 90 Min - Interview #3 is a collaboration interview where you will meet with other leaders to see what working with you is like.
  • 30 Min - Interview #4 is rare but could have a small follow up for any clarifications.
On the whole, our interviews fly by and are more like conversations and celebrations of your biggest achievements but you will absolutely be challenged and evaluated. It won’t feel like a court trial but it will be thorough. This is your time to shine and be authentic and recognize we are looking for a fit for the company but the company must fit you also or this won’t work.

In Return for Your Expertise, You Will Receive:
  • Excellent benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, stock options, work from home and flexible scheduling depending on job requirements, professional development opportunities, 9 paid holidays, and 15 days PTO.
  • Home office setup support for remote employees.
  • A welcome “swag bag” with branded clothing as an official welcome to the team.
  • The chance to work for an organization that puts people first and fosters a culture of teamwork, integrity, communication, accountability, and positive attitude!
Dynatron Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages all qualified individuals to apply.

Compensation Range: $145,000 - $160,000
