Thought about your next step in your Workers Compensation Sales Career?We're hiring for a Director of Sales!


The Director of Sales will achieve and surpass sales targets by building a robust client base and fostering strong relationships with potential customers through sales calls, prospecting, networking, and referrals. Leveraging a blend of a hunter mentality along with a consultative sales approach, this role will responsible for closing new business with self-insured employers, insured employers, insurance companies, third-party administrators and public entities.


Work specifics: Full-time exempt position, regular travel required within USA.


Key Result Areas (KRAs):


Revenue Growth:

  • Drive growth through the effective execution of the sales strategy that aligns with company objectives;
  • Consistently refine and tailor strategies to different markets to maximize growth;
  • Meet and exceed personal sales goals;
  • Achieve the company’s annual revenue sales target.

Sales Efficiency and Optimization:

  • Assist in optimizing the sales process to ensure consistency and efficiency;
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Market Penetration and Competitiveness:

  • Identify, develop, and expand new relationships with Insured, Self-Insured, Carrier, TPA and Public Entity prospects by determining market trends and client needs and staying abreast of changes;
  • Remain informed and ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts within the workers’ compensation space;
  • Provide strategic insights and adjust sales tactics to capitalize on emerging opportunities;
  • Continuously adapt the sales strategy based on market insights and competitive analysis.

Strategic Reporting, Forecasting, and Collaboration:

  • Deliver regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports to the Executive team, with clear measurement and focus on progress to personal and company sales targets;
  • Collaborate closely with business development, marketing, product development, and operational teams to ensure that sales strategies are integrated with broader company objectives.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Base pay $130K-150K annually

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, required.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a selling role in managed care and/or workers compensation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as sales psychology and buying techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to sit most of the day. Candidates must be able to use a keyboard most of the day. Candidate must have manual dexterity. Candidate must be able to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day. Candidate must be able to read and write English fluently. Candidate must be able to provide and confirm safe home office environment. Home office must be HIPAA compliant.
