About the Role:

As a Cloud Account Executive, you are the driving force behind our new logo sales growth, responsible for acquiring Confluent Cloud customers. Success in this role requires dedication, energy,  and a passion for solving customer problems.  As a key member of the Cloud Acquisition Team, you'll tap into hot markets, access industry-leading sales resources, and be supported by a diverse team of leaders. This position covers ANZ Market. 

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close net new logos
  • Drive account consumption growth (ARR)
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work collaboratively with your sales territory (RSD and AEs) to boost territory-wide consumption and growth
  • Qualify and progress meetings, signups, and use cases passed from inbound sales representatives
  • Provide weekly forecasts on pipeline creation, progression, and quarterly sales targets
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (i.e., Legal, SE, Cloud SDRs, Partners, and Marketing) to ensure success

What You Will Bring:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Inside sales and Outbound SDR roles, with a proven track record of closing deals and exceeding KPIs
  • Strong understanding of ANZ market
  • Hunger to acquire technology acumen
  • Strong ability to communicate business value effectively
  • Expertise in new business prospecting, pipeline generation, discovery, qualification, and close
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle priorities and projects
  • Resilience and drive to deliver results
