Type of position: Full-time permanent position. Only applicants who have all the necessary permits to work and are resident in USA will be considered.

At greehill, we're at the forefront of transforming urban forestry with our cutting-edge smart tree inventories. Leveraging 4D Digital Twinning, laser scanning, and AI technology, we offer comprehensive insights to municipalities and cities worldwide for managing their urban forests more efficiently.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive our expansion in the North America Business-to-Government (B2G) sector, with a special focus on government agencies managing urban greenery, including street and park trees. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the public sector by leveraging your knowledge of urban forestry management and government procurement processes. In collaboration with our existing partner in North America you will help position our cutting-edge technology products to meet the needs of greenery departments across in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with city and municipal departments, particularly those managing urban green spaces, parks, and street trees. Position greehill’s technology solutions to demonstrate how they can enhance the management of urban trees.
  • End-to-End Sales:
Identify and qualify sales leads, managing the full, end-to-end, sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, and then handing over to greehill’s PM. Prepare and present proposals, lead response to RFP/RFIs, lead contract negotiations, and ensure all dealings comply with national government regulations. Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary resources and information for proposal creation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four plus years of sales experience in consultative selling, preferably in the public sector. Proven success selling to local authorities, familiarity with procurement processes (RFPs), and understanding of municipal budgeting. Prior experience with selling to urban forestry, greenery management departments or utility companies is an important plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand and communicate greehill’s technical solutions effectively to non-expert government clients and align with their needs.
  • Experience in urban forestry, green technology, or environmental sustainability. Familiarity with the needs and challenges of managing street and park trees at the municipal level is a strong plus.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, with a “can do” mentality and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Capable of managing multiple complex, long-term sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and work under pressure
  • Understanding of U.S. environmental regulations and local greenery goals to align product offerings with government needs is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel in the U.S. as needed and work within with an international organization.

Appreciated Skills:

  • Familiarity with surveying, mapping, data capture, analysis, and/or extraction.
  • Experience with CAD, GIS, or 3D modelling software.

What You Can Expect from Us:

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Join a team of highly motivated international colleagues committed to creating a greener and healthier urban environment.
  • Play a pivotal role in building our corporate structure in North America for our brand awareness throughout the region.
  • Be at the forefront of exposing cutting-edge LiDAR and AI technologies to help cities manage their urban trees more efficiently.
