Job description

Risk Strategies Consulting (RSC) seeks an experienced Account Manager to provide expert benefits consulting to mid-market clients. This individual will need to consult on a wide variety of projects involving the design, pricing, funding, implementation, and management of a full array of Health and Welfare Benefit programs including medical, dental, life, disability, and other ancillary benefits.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Optimize client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage day-to-day client needs and deliverables.
  • Leading teams and collaborating cross-functionally to address client risks.
  • Evaluating benefit plans for various funding arrangements.
  • Prepare client communications and materials and facilitate webinars when needed.
  • Oversee client RFP processes and policy implementation.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in insurance, HR, business, economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of client management/ benefits consulting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication.
  • Critical thinking and good judgment.


At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $109,400 - $150,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
