Job description

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive who will focus on driving new business development in the professional services sector. In this role, you will engage with some of the most influential consulting and legal firms globally, representing Altrata’s full suite of products. Your goal is to build strong relationships and secure new business opportunities through strategic outreach, expert product knowledge, and a consultative sales approach.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales and an ability to network. We are looking for somebody with at least 3-5 years of experience selling into the consulting and legal verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize industry sectors for new business opportunities, with a focus on consulting and legal markets.
  • Conduct high-impact sales presentations and demonstrations to senior decision-makers within organizations.
  • Proactively respond to and follow up on sales inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract invoicing, consistently closing deals.
  • Regularly update CRM (Salesforce) with client interactions, ensuring accuracy and visibility for the team.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets on a cumulative basis.
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and relevant management insights to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across departments to support business and organizational development goals.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge through training and stay current on industry trends.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by leveraging social media and representing the company at speaking engagements, events, and conferences.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of consulting and legal sectors, with a minimum of 3-5 years selling software solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly their implementation and integration with third-party software and data.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to associates.
  • Excellent presentation and face-to-face communication skills, with a talent for delivering impactful pitches.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate sales opportunities, from cold calls to closing high-value deals.
  • Highly self-motivated with a history of exceeding performance metrics.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and under pressure.
  • Skilled at networking and cultivating relationships that lead to business success.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach, aligning client needs with company capabilities to create win-win solutions.
  • A natural forward thinker, with the ability to critically assess personal performance and identify areas for growth.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while contributing to a collaborative team structure.
