Senior Director, CFO Value Adviser
Description

This role is an Individual Contributor role (so leadership skills still needed but no direct team management)
Then you might be the perfect candidate as a Finance expert within our Value Advisory team. We are looking for someone who understands finance, how it brings business value, and is excited by how technology innovation helps organisations succeed.
Our value architects enable the wider Sales organization within Oracle to deliver on its revenue and growth goals. Their responsibilities support Oracle’s Sales teams to uncover demand for Oracle�����s Cloud Finance solutions by:
- Articulating the business value proposition of our solutions that resonate with customers;
- Engaging with the most senior business stakeholders within our most strategic clients on a peer to peer basis;
- Working with marketing colleagues to ensure our content reflects leading practice in finance and the needs of EMEA. This includes identifying customer needs and reflecting them in our value propositions and campaigns; and
- Working with Product Development colleagues to explore how EMEA customers’ requirements can be supported in our solutions.
Responsibilities
Key activities
- Work with Marketing, local business development and Sales teams in support of their pipeline creation activities including:
- developing value propositions and campaign materials;
- engaging prospective customers to build effective peer to peer relationships with senior finance leaders
- Establish self as influencer within the market for Finance solutions:
- talk credibly about the role of finance enabled by ERP and EPM solutions. Understand the organizational transformation process and act as a sounding board to Sales and customers throughout the buying process
- speak at marketing and business development events, host round tables, write thought leadership material, blogs, social media posts, webinars, etc.
- Align with delivery partners to develop and support their own pipeline development programs
- Capture and feed back to Product Development the perspective of the EMEA region and the needs of our regional customers; and
Strategic deal support
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationship and influence the selection of Oracle as the preferred vendor for strategic customers;
- Provide support to the account team throughout their customer interactions: input to account planning; lead or coach on early conversations with customers’ senior finance leaders around their needs and priorities; support activities to progress and close opportunities; and
- Input to the EMEA marketing team and process the business value proposition of our solutions for the EMEA market.
Development Interface
- Work with our development product marketing teams to shape the domain content so it resonates with customers and addresses the challenges they face today;
- Understand forthcoming product innovation and how it translates to business value outcomes for our customers
- Interface to the development organization to ensure EMEA customer requirements are being addressed in our solutions.
Personal Profile
- A native or highly proficient speaker of German or French
- Senior experience in relevant areas of work as a CFO, Finance Director, or consultant leading finance transformation and/ or operations. Operates with gravitas, influence and expertise
- Experienced in selecting a vendor and implementing an ERP solution, and able to cite real life experience and lessons learnt
- Excellent at collaborating and energizing people towards a shared purpose
- Be flexible, able to adapt to, and thrive with change and ambiguity
- Be value focused, prioritising activities which maximise value
- Be market aware, a confident Thought Leader & Social Influencer
Qualifications/ Experience
- Qualified accountant with at least 10 years’ post-qualification experience
- Possess excellent client-facing skills, including exceptional presentation skills, and experience in dealing with client and technical teams as well as experience in presenting to C-level executives
- Ability to work effectively within a highly driven organisation
- Ability to travel across EMEA

Responsibilities
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
