Job Summary:

The Portal Recruiter is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s recruitment processes through various online job portals. This role involves posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The Portal Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and help attract top talent through effective online recruitment strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Job Posting and Advertising:
  • Create and post job advertisements on various online job portals and social media platforms.
  • Ensure job postings are optimized with relevant keywords to attract qualified candidates.
  • Monitor and update job postings as needed.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
  • Source and identify potential candidates through online job portals, databases, and social media.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of open positions and candidate pipelines.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Candidate Experience:
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide timely feedback and communication to candidates.
  • Handle candidate queries and provide support during the recruitment process.
  • Database Management:
  • Maintain and update the candidate database and applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure accurate and organized records of candidate information and recruitment activities.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in online recruitment.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve the efficiency of the recruitment process.
  • Identify new online platforms and tools to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies and employment laws.
  • Prepare and present regular recruitment reports and analytics to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Promote the company’s employer brand through online platforms.
  • Engage with potential candidates on social media to build a talent pipeline.
  • Participate in online career fairs and recruitment events.


Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably with a focus on online job portals.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.


  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of online recruitment strategies and job portal functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
