Position Overview: Job Purpose

 

The Sales Development role will focus on new customer acquisition as well as cross-selling opportunities. This position involves partnering with assigned account executives to research and identify enterprise-level prospects to call, follow up on campaigns, event/booth visits as well as web leads. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to generate a consistent flow of sales qualified leads (SQL) to help build our sales pipeline.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Understand and demonstrate product knowledge to the customer and/or prospect 
  • Partner with senior account executives to proactively research (utilizing Zoom Info LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) enterprise accounts/leads.
  • Understand pain points and call into enterprise business prospects (using outbound calls, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and emails) to generate potential leads
  • Use Salesforce to update and track progress on assigned accounts
  • Working closely with Marketing to follow up campaigns, event/booth visits as well as digital leads in a timely manner, converting into sales opportunities
  • Qualifying leads according to BANT criteria and passing them onto account executives

 

Other Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience as an SDR in a SaaS/Technology based company
  • Passion to drive results and add to the bottom line
  • Creative thinker
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce a must
  • Knowledge of Hubspot, Chorus, and TechTarget a plus

 

This position can be fully remote or work out of our headquarters based in Atlanta, Georgia.
