Location - Remote from the UK (London HQ)
Salary - £70,000 - £90,000 + Commission + Options
About the company
We are delighted to be working with an exciting startup who are operating within the world of Travel Payments with a new and innovative solution that has already been onboarded with a number of major airlines and travel providers.
Their unique approach to provide consumers the ability to split payments before the transaction takes place offer an incredible payments experience for consumers and support merchants to entice and improve their checkout experience and reducing cart abandonment.
This business has secured over $1M in funding to date, has a headcount of 10 people and has huge ambition to continue scaling the business with a people first approach.
The role
We are looking for an experienced account executive with a proven track record selling payment-based solution within the Travel industry with a preference towards Airlines.
You role will be to manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting your accounts through to selling the value proposition, running negotiations, contracts and closing.
You will be a hunter through and through yet ideally have an established network with which you can engage.
Within this position you will have the opportunity to introduce new processes, progress into a head of sales role and continue to scale out the department, you even have the opportunity to progress to CCO so this truly have unlimited opportunity for the right person.
The Requirements
- A proven track record selling payment-based solution within the travel sector, ideally Airlines.
- A proven track record of taking a sale from prospect to close.
- A proactive mindset where you can share ideas, implement new processes, share knowledge and always be learning
- Demonstrate a background of working within a start-up / scale-up environment or demonstrate the right attitude and mindset to adapt to this culture
