Job description

Marketing Manager (Direct-to-Consumer and E-commerce)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager with a strong background in direct-to-consumer (DTC) and e-commerce marketing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in email, SMS and social media marketing within the e-commerce landscape, including platforms such as Amazon and Walmart. Furthermore, the candidate should have proficiency in English and the ability to recognize effective marketing copywriting, although they do not necessarily need to be a writer themselves.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with CMO: Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to develop and execute marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  2. Content Strategy: Create and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive content strategy, collaborating with the design team to produce engaging and impactful marketing materials across various channels.
  3. Social Media Marketing: Stay abreast of industry trends and consumer behavior to develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversion.
  4. Project Management: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and project management capabilities to effectively manage marketing projects, ensure timely delivery of deliverables, and hold team members accountable for their responsibilities.
  5. Technology Proficiency: Adapt quickly to new technologies and platforms essential for the role, leveraging digital tools and systems to optimize marketing campaigns and performance.
  6. Research and Reporting: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key insights and performance metrics to the CMO and senior leadership.
  7. Copywriting: Not a requirement, but nice to have. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing roles with a focus on direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels.
  • Proven expertise in email, SMS, social media, and PPC marketing, with hands-on experience in executing campaigns across e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms, with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Copywriting: Not a requirement, but nice to have.
