Job Title: Snowflake DBA

Experience Range: 7-12 years

Notice Period: Short joiners (maximum up to 30 days)

Shift Timing: 24/7 support (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm / 11:00 am to 7:00 pm & 7:00 pm to 3:00 am, 8.5 hours shift)

Mode of Work: Hybrid, WFO 3 days a week

Joining Location: Pan India

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex data architectures on the Snowflake platform and a thorough understanding of performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Engagement: Provide 24/7 support and work flexible rotating night shifts.
• Snowflake Cloud Administration: Plan, design, implement, and maintain scalable, performant, and secure data architectures on the Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with enterprise architecture, data engineering, and analytics teams to design, implement, and monitor data architectures.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and data partitioning.
• ETL/ELT and Data Integration: Utilize ETL/ELT and data integration tools and techniques.
• Cloud Security and Automation: Apply cloud security best practices and use cloud infrastructure automation tools.
• Data Governance and Security: Design solutions to ensure compliance with data governance and security policies using Snowflake capabilities.

Required Technical Skills:

• Snowflake Expertise: Deep understanding of the Snowflake platform and its capabilities.
• Performance Tuning: Strong skills in SQL, DBA tasks, writing stored procedures, and creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• ETL/ELT: Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
• Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cloud infrastructure automation tools.
• Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance and security policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related role.
• Expertise in Snowflake and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong SQL and DBA skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
