Your missions

The opportunity:

ReMatter is a fast-growing start-up creating the modern operating system for the industrial scrap recycling industry ($120bn and growing!). Our customers represent the largest industrial recyclers around the world tasked with repurposing industrial and consumer scrap into new materials.

We are seeking a go-getter Sales Development Representative to help grow our business and prospect into metal recyclers of all sizes. This role will be based on our Sales team.

This role is remote, and will require some travel to visit prospects onsite and attend industry events.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will:

  • Run outbound prospecting into net-new accounts with a focus on building relationships and identifying new business opportunities

  • Leverage phone, digital channels, and in-person visits to unlock new conversations

  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership to map accounts, build and execute engagement strategies, and grow pipeline

  • Develop your skillset as a sales professional including discovery, qualification, and value communication

  • Become an expert on the ReMatter product and customer profiles

  • Be a core part of a team-selling atmosphere and help surface insights to continue improving our process

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a good balance of EQ + IQ

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

  • Ready to learn, grow, and have fun!

Nice to have:

  • BA/BS Degree

  • Prior experience in the scrap recycling industry and/or selling software
