Job description

About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, more freedom. And since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. With an arsenal of awesome products that span spending, saving, travel, transfers, investing, exchanging and more, we've helped 40+ million customers get more from their money. And we're not done yet.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ two things are essential to continuing our success: our people and our culture. We've been officially certified as a Great Place to Work™ in recognition of our outstanding employee experience! So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our great offices or remotely, on our mission. And we're looking for more. We want brilliant people that love building great products, love redefining success, and love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About the role

At Revolut, we do Operations differently. Our hyper-talented Ops experts don’t just keep ticking things over. They're given the most complex, hard-to-solve problems in the business. Then, they create elegant, scalable solutions that keep pace with our ambitious growth plans. Without our Ops team, we’d be following the herd, not leading the pack — and that’s not who we are 🐑

The Global Environmental, Health & Safety Team (EHS) is focused on directing and shaping those aspects and how their performance is managed within Revolut to ensure day-to-day implementation of Revolut’s Management Systems.

Up for the challenge? Let's get in touch 🚀

What you’ll be doing

  • Serving as the subject matter expert and collaborating with the applicable teams/internal stakeholders to maintain a safe working environment

  • Collaborating with the Global EHS Team on the implementation of the global health & safety management system

  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards

  • Interpreting, and understanding Revolut's legal obligations, especially in maintaining compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation

  • Supporting the facilities management team to manage and coordinate building safety-related information and periodically visiting our offices

  • Managing the EHS service desk, reviewing home workstation self-assessments, and responding to individual/team support requests

  • Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the global Health & Safety Management System

  • Monitoring performance against HSE objectives and targets, taking corrective and preventative actions as necessary

  • Investigating incidents and accidents, taking appropriate corrective and preventative actions to prevent re-occurrence

  • Planning and executing global projects, managing resources, and reporting on objectives and their progress

  • Undertaking regular audits of the Health & Safety Management System, taking appropriate corrective and preventative actions to address any non-conformity

  • Keeping abreast of developments in legislation and best practise, and recommending changes to the management system as necessary

  • Coaching colleagues to build knowledge of health and safety processes

What you'll need

  • A level of education required by local legislation to act as the competent person

  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Relevant experience understanding and applying EU Health and Safety legislation

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
