Job description

About the role

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to form part of our Customer Success team as we strengthen our presence in the DACH Market.

Plytix is  becoming increasingly popular, so we need more people to help our ever-growing customer base. This person will be working on implementation projects for DACH clients as they onboard with Plytix and implement our PIM into their business. The implementation specialist is responsible for setting up accounts and serves as the connecting piece between vision and execution, supporting the Account Manager in onboarding projects.

What is Plytix?
This is where you’d typically see a long paragraph of boring text that no one reads, peppered with corporate buzzwords that don’t mean anything. But Plytix is no typical company, so we’ll spare you that. Instead, watch this video, and if you like what you see, keep scrolling.

What´s the opportunity?

The Customer Success team at Plytix is known for delivering world-class service and support to our clients.  It's consistently highlighted by our customers as one of their favorite things about Plytix.

In an effort to provide an ever better customer experience, Plytix is deploying Implementation specialists to be even more hands-on in the onboarding of new clients. The position of the Implementation Specialist is a new position within the Customer Success team, and you will play an important role of defining best practices and standard operating procedures that go beyond the actual set up the accounts.

Your job as an Implementation Specialist is first and foremost to execute the implementation of the PIM and set up client accounts.  You will be attending client meetings, building Plytix PIM Accounts firsthand, and getting deep into the weeds of your clients’ product data and account set-up. You will learn about a variety of industries, their products, and their technical set up, and combine that knowledge with the ideal way of improving their processes with Plytix PIM.

This is an entry level position, allowing you the opportunity to learn the best practices for this role. , and you will be put on a career path in Plytix that gives you exposure to the most technical aspects of the Plytix PIM platform.

Within the first year, you will become an absolute expert in the tool and help dozens of new clients onboard their products in the tool. Once you have proven your expertise, you will start building your own portfolio of clients that you support on an ongoing basis and eventually transition in the Account Manager role, with your own Implementation Specialist as support.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working directly with clients as they onboard with Plytix and implement the PIM into their company. This includes every aspect inside the Plytix PIM platform, from the initial product data import, to setting up the framework inside Plytix, and configuring outputs so customers can share their data with the world.

But the job doesn’t stop there. Together with the Account Manager, you’ll attend client meetings, craft a roadmap for implementation, and make sure deadlines are met, so your clients can start using Plytix PIM as fast as possible.

After 1 month:

You’ll be on your way to becoming a Plytix PIM expert. You’ll learn the ins and outs of our platform.  As you start applying this knowledge and working with clients, we’ll be right there with you for support.  Soon you'll be guiding customers through their implementations, and you’ll even be giving them basic training. At this point, you’ll be right on track to becoming a knowledgeable PIM advisor.

After 3 months:

You’ll be working with your own implementation projects, and you’ll have a developed, close relationship with your customers. You’ll be building a pipeline of projects, and  meeting deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction.

6 months in:

You’ll have completed many onboarding projects, and easily manage your own pipeline of projects and related deadlines.  You are consistently meeting deadlines and achieve the highest customer satisfaction ratings, and are a proven asset to the company and your team.

Who will you be working with?
You’ll be working with your fellow PIM experts on the Customer Success team to ensure that our customers’ expectations are met and that they are using the system to its full potential (and many of your team members will be in a different time zone, so this is when your entrepreneurial spirit will kick in!).  But you’ll also be working with Product Managers, Sales, and even the marketing team. These departments work together towards a common goal as part of the revenue team.
What do we look for in the ideal candidate:
  • Native-level German speaker skills

  • Very high levels of English (and any other language is a plus)

  • Analytical thinking skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management expertise

  • No fear of Excel / Google Sheets (prior experience is a plus, willingness to learn a must)

  • A high level of emotional intelligence

  • Empathy, kindness, and patience

  • Natural curiosity, with a desire to learn every day

  • The ability to thrive in a dispersed team while working with team members in different time zones

  • An independent self-starter mentality, with no problem taking on new challenges

  • Active listening and proactive problem solving skills

  • Solid written and spoken communication capabilities

Nice to have:
  • Business related education

  • Experience working on a remote team

About our culture
If you love reading ‘empowering’ phrases like “vibrant collective” and “innovative individuals,” then be prepared to be disappointed…

That’s because to get a typical result, you have to do only typical things. But that’s not really our style.

We’re a community of chill and fun-loving humans who believe that work doesn’t have to be boring. We make each day exciting by collaborating together and enjoying the occasional bout of silliness: like a pool competition, potluck, party, or game of padel.

We’re kind of the cool kids in the PIM playground (if we do say so ourselves), and we love to challenge the status quo to help anyone break free from f*#king boring spreadsheets.
