We are seeking a program planning professional to join the Integrated Program Planning department. This person will be responsible for assisting the lead scheduler (or functioning as lead scheduler) with schedule management and analysis, as well as other Program activities for the Program Planning Department. 

What You Will Do

  • Creation and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Assist in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks.
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to assist in ensuring that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.
  • Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform and/or assist in analyses such as critical path, schedule risk and variance analysis.
  • Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines.
  • Balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction Scheduling experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Deliver customer focused solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Program Management, Program Planning & Scheduling, or within a job function within the DOD or Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project (or similar project scheduling software)
  • Experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience in Program Planning & Scheduling Knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
