Founder University Description

Founder University is a 12-week pre-accelerator that helps tech startups build their MVPs, launch into market, and acquire first customers. The program targets builder founders from the idea stage to early traction, and is run by Jason Calacanis and LAUNCH.

The program is highly competitive, with an acceptance rate of ~10%. Top graduates receive an investment of $25K or $125K to accelerate growth. The program is virtual-first, with in-person sessions in Austin, Texas.

What We Look For

Companies can be based anywhere in the world, as long as there is a focus on the U.S. market
Multiple technical cofounders (developers, UI/UX designers, and/or growth hackers)
The drive to iterate quickly
An obsession with delighting customers and getting their constant feedback
Mandatory attendance at two hour-long Zoom sessions per week at 5PM CST (Mondays and Thursdays)

What Our Graduates Gain

Guidance on building and/or refining your MVP
Mentorship on finding early customers and enhancing sales/marketing efforts
Sharpened fundraising pitch and the opportunity to present to the LAUNCH investment team
Engagement with a community of fellow founders for accountability and support

Tuition: $500, which is refunded at the end of the program if you attend all of the required sessions.
