Role – SDE I – Backend (Core Platform)

About the Role

We are hiring for a Backend Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This team is responsible for designing and scaling the foundational systems that power all our AI-driven products—from secure authentication and configuration engines to core services like logging, feature management, and real-time orchestration.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build modular, high-performance backend systems that are critical to uptime, compliance, and scalability across the company. This is a hands-on role ideal for engineers looking to grow their impact while working on production infrastructure used by every product team.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement backend services that power cross-cutting features like knowledge, content, configuration, identity, access control, and audit.
Write performant, secure, and testable code using js, Go, or Python
Build and maintain APIs, service orchestration layers, and shared infrastructure modules
Collaborate with platform, ML, and product teams to ensure backend systems are flexible, resilient, and developer-friendly
Contribute to service monitoring, alerting, and production readiness practices across core systems
Participate in code reviews, documentation, sprint planning, and internal platform adoption initiatives

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
1–3 years of backend engineering experience, ideally in platform or service-oriented roles
Proficiency in at least two modern backend programming languages (Node.js, Go, Python, Java)
Experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.), and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of service architecture, data modeling, and system design fundamentals
Solid grasp of debugging, testing, and monitoring backend applications in production

Bonus Points:

Exposure to platform engineering, dev tools, or internal infrastructure services
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
Familiarity with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Prior work in B2B SaaS, compliance-heavy, or AI-enabled product environments
