Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, Canada

Experience: 5+ Years

Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Data Analyst to support enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing data pipelines, profiling non-compliant user behavior, and enhancing automated campaign performance for a Fortune 500 product company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable ETL pipelines and manage databases to ensure efficient and secure data operations
Engineer data models and workflows aligned to business goals and campaign needs
Define and enforce data quality standards and validation protocols
Analyze user datasets to uncover patterns indicating non-compliance or misuse
Deliver insights and actionable strategies through advanced data profiling and analysis
Optimize data infrastructure to enable automated campaign deployment and tracking
Improve system performance and scalability for high-volume campaign execution

Must-Have Skills:

Proficient in developing ETL pipelines and managing complex databases
Hands-on with Python, advanced SQL, and Spark
Experienced with AWS, Airflow, Git, Snowflake, and DBT
Familiar with Salesforce and Adobe Analytics platforms
Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical mindset with a history of data-driven decision making
Excellent communication, business judgment, and stakeholder management
Skilled in BI tools and Excel

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with Power BI dashboards
Exposure to data science, ML, or MLOps environments

Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are considered an asset
