Job Description:

The Associate Director of Managed Solutions Technology is a pivotal role that oversees the strategic financial management and technological integration within the firm. This individual is responsible for directing the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and ensuring the integrity of fiscal data as it aligns with operational benchmarks and long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Direct the meticulous preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and reports for government agencies.
  • Leadership: Provide visionary leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strategic Planning: Offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team, contributing to the firm’s financial and operational strategy.
  • Budget Management: Manage and refine the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting.
  • Business Advisory: Serve as a key advisor on long-term business and financial planning, evaluating current methodologies and implementing enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to synchronize planning efforts and set clear, actionable priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior management, external partners, and key stakeholders to align strategic objectives and foster partnerships.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance against projections and budgets, initiating adjustments to align with organizational objectives.
  • Operational Review: Conduct in-depth analyses of operations to identify areas requiring reorganization, downsizing, or elimination to optimize performance and resource allocation.
  • Market Analysis: Investigate long-term economic trends to forecast their influence on future sales growth and market share expansion.
  • Growth Opportunities: Scout for opportunities to diversify into new product areas, driving innovation and growth.
  • Capital Management: Oversee the prudent investment of funds and collaborate with investment bankers to secure the capital necessary for the firm’s expansion initiatives.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Advanced analytical acumen and organizational prowess.
  • Proficiency in state-of-the-art database and accounting software.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.

Education and Experience:

  • A master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-level financial management role, preferably within a technology-driven environment.
