By leveraging large-scale data pipelines, business intelligence, and statistical analysis, Decision Support ensures efficiency, innovation, and profitability across both digital and physical auction environments.

In this role, the Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for developing industry and client-specific insights to strengthen relationships between Cox Automotive and client executive teams. The Business Intelligence Manager will handle complex data sets, identify patterns, and create compelling cases for change. This position requires delivering impactful presentations to executive and client audiences and aligning analysis with strategic account plans. • Infrastructure Development: Work with IT, Engineering, and other technical teams to shape and drive the development of Cox’s Business Intelligence infrastructure, including data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.

  • Metric Development: Develop new metrics to track the business and uncover previously unidentified trends.

  • Process Improvement: Develop and recommend continuous process improvement initiatives for the Business Intelligence team.

  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Utilize advanced tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data. • Business Acumen: Understand economic, financial, market, and industry trends to improve organizational results. Analyze information from multiple sources to identify trends and assess business strategies. Articulate the implications of trends for broader organization.

  • Consulting: Provide technical, process, or business guidance to clients. Understand client objectives and project scope. Monitor performance versus expectations and keep clients informed on progress and issues.

  • Project Administration & Management: Use organizational methods, practices, and tools for managing projects. Estimate time and resources, identify dependencies, and document project meetings and status reports. Develop cost-benefit analyses and track actual versus planned costs.
