This role is responsible for owning the technical foundation behind Keap.com and its lead generation stack. You will build public-facing web pages and applications, lead new feature development, and maintain critical internal systems that support our marketing, sales, and operations teams. You will own systems end-to-end — from architecture to implementation — and serve as the primary technical contact for everything from vendor integrations to DNS configuration. This is a hands-on position best suited for someone who enjoys jumping between front end experiences and back end logic, with the ability to collaborate across departments and translate business needs into scalable code. Responsibilities · Develops and maintains pages and applications for Keap.com (Laravel) and Thryv.com (WordPress), including our custom Buy Now cart (Laravel & Vue3), Keap’s headless Craft CMS setup, and a custom marketing API service (Laravel). · Builds and maintains Laravel and WordPress APIs and pages to support the creation of marketing landing pages, campaign infrastructure, form endpoints, and back end support for experiments. · Collaborates closely with designers to bring creative visions to life while also providing technical guidance and feasibility assessments. Leads technical planning for new initiatives and performs code reviews for other developers. · Acts as the tech owner for marketing infrastructure, including deployments (Heroku), caching (Redis), DNS (Cloudfare), and CI/CD. · Writes clean, scalable, modern PHP and JavaScript (using both framework and vanilla). · Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Product, Legal, and IT to scope and deliver projects. · Owns Marketing-specific vendor integrations across Chargebee, Salesforce, Marketo, BigQuery, and GCP/AWS- limited to the scope of the Marketing Development team. · Maintains and evolves the local development environment (Docker) and build process (Vite). Who We’re Looking For · Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required. · 5+ years of related experience, required. · Experience in full stack development with a heavy focus on PHP, Laravel, and WordPress, required. · 9+ years of related experience, preferred. · Experience with GraphQL, Alpine.js, Tailwind, and Salesforce’s SOQL, preferred. · Experience with Headless CMS, especially Craft CMS, preferred. · Experience with subscription billing systems (Chargebee or other), preferred. · Experience working on marketing or lead generation teams, preferred. · Experience debugging across the stack (DNS, caching, build tools, etc.), preferred. · Experience with GCP and/or AWS, especially in areas like PubSub, S3, or BigQuery, preferred. · Experience integrating third-party platforms (Chargebee, Salesforce (SOQL), or Marketo), preferred. · Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including experience with both Vue 3 and vanilla JS. · Proficiency in SCSS/CSS, Tailwind, and building responsive, accessible front end UIs. · Experience managing deployment pipelines and development environments using tools like Heroku, Docker, Vite, GitHub Actions, or similar. · Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis). · Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to own a tech stack and collaborate deeply with non-technical teams. · Comfortable balancing feature development with ongoing refactoring and tech debt reduction. · Ability to travel less than 5% of the time. · Must be 18 years of age or older. · Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required. · Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
